One of the many reasons to become acquainted with the City of Cambridge and Dorchester County, Maryland  is the annual Cambridge Classic inboard powerboat regatta.

The Classic has been an integral part of the City and County heritage for 99 years, and the sponsoring Cambridge Power Boat Regatta Association takes great pride in its contribution to this continuing tradition.

The Association membership resolution of a FREE admission policy is a means of advocating tradition and free community entertainment to our citizens and visitors.

The Cambridge Power Boat Regatta Association, a non-profit organization, is gratified and proud of the City and County and the renown legacy of our marvelous environment including the wonderful woodlands, magnificent waterways and abundant wildlife of Maryland’s Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay.

We welcome ALL visitors to our hospitable community whether the purpose of your visit is to hunt, fish, crab, visit friends and relatives, visit historical sites or perhaps to be a part of a tradition and catch a glimpse of The Classic!
